We enjoyed this place very much! It was very clean and had the necessary items we needed to make meals and enjoy seating at the beach. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The condo was muggy at first since there was no AC. But once we opened all doors an windows and got the three fans going it cooled down. Th beds are comfortbale and house was claen. Great views from rootop. The only issue (which I did not asked for either) was no paper towels and no wash clothes to wash dishes.

We were really happy with our 8 day stay. The condo was very clean and has everything you need, even beach supplies. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second time staying at this unit in NCV. We had a great stay and really love the patio that faces the ocean. It is a great unit for our family of 4. We are able to walk to many restaurants and enjoy both the ocean and the pool. We hope to be back in the future!

Facility was doing electrical updates no elevator service for over 34 hours, There were signs posted, however there was no hot water for over 24 hours and we were not notified of this. It was the day before we flew home and had spent the day at the beach without hot water to shower.
This was not the fault of the rental owners, but the fault of North Coast village. I have always enjoyed staying there and will stay there again in spite of this last problem.

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The ocean view was beautiful, the pool and hot tub were wonderful, and our kids loved feeding the koi fish! The only downside was stairs everywhere. With no map of handicap accessible routes. My parents couldn't come down to the pool, and my grandson is in a wheelchair. Since we came in late, we should have asked the office the very next day instead of wondering around looking for accessibility.

The LR furniture was very worn and quite uncomfortable. The TV was small and those in the bedroom required paying fees to us. The kitchen desperately needs updating (the refrigerator leaked water, the dishwasher and stove are really old!) The beds were good and the bathrooms are ok although the exhaust fans didn’t work. I was able to get some glassware needed as well as a shower caddy and toaster.
We love the location and amenities of the complex but we would never rent this unit again.

Our stay was fine. The property was in a decent location. Pretty easy access to parking, amenities, the beach, etc. We liked the upstairs balcony that faced the beach. The one flaw in this unit was that the upstairs master suite had no door for privacy. In fact, from the right angles, you could see the front door from in the shower via mirrors. #Uncomfortable

Anyway, after we checked out, we were notified (including pictures) that we had "stained" the bed clothes in one of the rooms and that we were charged $50 as a result. It was "stained" with Cheetos dust.

We responded to the notification via email with the following explanation: That's Cheetos dust. After those sheets go through the wash, the Cheetos dust will be gone. I'm assuming you wash the bed clothes between reservations, so no harm done. If you're not washing them between reservations, that's disgusting.

We have a child with a disability who loves Cheetos, so we're very familiar with Cheetos dust. Those are certainly not stained. But if you feel that you need my $50 to wash the bed clothes even though you're doing that anyway (I hope), I guess I don't have a lot of control over that.

For the record, that's hardly damage. We have not received a response (from 2 weeks ago) nor did we receive a refund for the $50 charge. I fear that they have not responded because they don't wash the sheets on a regular basis (ew) and aren't sure how to respond to someone getting Cheetos dust on their sheets.

We had a great vacation! The unit had everything we needed for a great family vacation. The location cannot be beat - 5 min walk to the beach, easily walkable to many restaurants, a pool and exercise facility as well. The unit did not have air conditioning but we managed fine with the windows and sliding doors providing a breeze. We definitely plan to return!

Very clean. Lots of amenities for playing, cooking, chilling, and seeing the local sites. ON the beach! Very nice community.

The location can't be beat. Right at the oceanside north harbor with access to all sorts of different beach breaks for surfing. Within walking distance of downtown and the pier. Don't miss the Thursday sunset market! The unit was plenty big for 4 people, the grounds were immaculate and it was exactly as represented. Some minor updates to the unit would make things perfect as the appliances and electronics are showing their age. We'll be back.

North Coast Village is a fantastic property with lush tropical gardens and other amenities. This unit was perfect for our family! It is a short walk to the beach. The photos of ocean views are accurate. We would definitely return. The beach supplies and wagon was such a great amenity. My only complaints, and they are small in comparison with everything else being perfect, is the master bed (a bit hard for my liking and squeaks a little when you move) and shower (low pressure). But these minor things would not prevent me from booking this unit again in a heartbeat.

The property was not in good condition. The apartment has not been maintained for something in this price range. Very dirty carpets, worn out furniture, master mattress bumpy/dips, electric outlet with a short, microwave with cracks in the door, lock broken on a window, missing shower sliding door, chair legs loose (tightened) table legs loose.
The manager's customer service was very good: e.g. the internet service was spotty and Adriana got the modem updated and working.
Other than the bad carpets, the housekeeping was good.
The kitchen seems to have been well stocked at some point, but seems incomplete now. The crock pot only works on low, knives are mismatched, dull and falling apart. The water was shut off one morning every week. The cable offering was very good, but the televisions are low resolution models circa 2007.

Great place! My family and I enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

This condo had everything anyone could possibly need: cooking supplies, many dishes, glasses, etc, pot and pans for any gourmet dinner, place mats, games, etc. The upstairs had a beautiful view of the ocean. What a pleasure to wake up each morning to this view.

Stayed 5 nights with my daughter and her family. We loved the separation of bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms. I wish the upstairs TV was larger and on a higher stand. It was hard to view lying in bed. Beds were comfortable, pillows probably should be replaced. Overall we were pleased with to price, location and condition of the condo.

We enjoy renting in this complex. This ‘penthouse’ has top level master but not high end furnishings or carpet. Tub/ shower shares one panel of glass with cheap plastic curtain. Threshold needed between entry and living room to eliminate feet getting poked. Close proximity to beach and wagon, umbrellas. cart and toys a plus. Would rent this unit again though if the price was right

Overall, the stay was great and we had a blast. The property grounds are gorgeous and the beach is amazing. The pool and hot tub were very clean and relaxing. The condo was clean and well stocked with essentials. Two complaints: check-in isn't til 3pm which was problematic as our flight landed at 7:30 A.M. We had to find something to do for the entire day. I was hopeful they would notify me that the room was ready early for check-in but no such luck. When we did arrive to check-in at 3pm, the room was extremely hot. The upstairs was probably over 90 degrees and unbearable to be in because all the windows were shut. We opened all the windows and let it cool off. We hunted around for the thermostat to discover there wasn't one. It was my fault for not looking at the amenities page on the listing but I just assumed this nice of a condo would have an AC. No such luck either. Thankfully, it really didn't bother us because we left the windows open and weren't there much during the day. The owner left lots of fans in the unit for us to use also. By bedtime it was cooled off enough to sleep with the ocean breeze. But this was in September....I'd hate to see how hot it gets in there during the summer! Overall, great place and I would definitely stay again. But it would be nice if the owner made it more evident in the listing that there is no AC and also made the check-in time a bit earlier.

From check-in to check-out ... everything was amazing! Check-in was easy and the staff was friendly and professional. The "resort" was beautiful, well-kept, and generally easy to navigate with the map we were provided at check-in. Miguel and Adriana were quick to respond when we needed their assistance (prior to our stay with questions and during our stay with one question). Our Surf View Penthouse was fantastic and had everything we needed (except a pizza cutter, but we managed with one of the plenty of knives available in the unit). It was very HOT when we first made it to our unit, but with the multiple provided fans we simply opened the unit up, ran the fans and it was much more comfortable in no time. The pool was awesome and not too deep for my kiddos to have a blast. The location seemed safe and it was an easy walk with our kids and the provided wagon full of beach stuff to the sand. We also took family walks to the pier each morning and had such a great time. Lots do see/do/eat within walking distance (even with four young kids). The view from the deck off the master was fantastic! Enjoyed mornings with coffee and breakfast out there to watch the early morning surfers and sailboats :) We will definitely return!

In the master bedroom there is no sound of the train, so the we had wonderful restful nights. 2: Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed for the stay! you only need to bring food:) Everything worked good. 3: Very close to the beach, and I loved that there were kids toys and umbrella. So you only need to bring buddyboard if you like to use then on the ocean.
Cons: The sofa in the living room was old, and since it was fabric it felt little dirty and moist. I was putting blankets on it and it worked for us. Overall it wasn't the super modern and updated rental but for the price and location it was really nice. I wish they had leather living room sets then u can just wipe it and you know its clean.

We had a great time staying at North Coast. The grounds are well kept and clean throughout with gorgeous landscaping. The condo was clean and had most everything we needed. It was very hot during our stay and we didn't have AC. We ended up buying 2 fans to keep cool, but that was OK. Can't wait to come back!

It was nice being in such a tastefully decorated property. It was very clean. The furniture in the living room wasn’t very comfortable, especially when we were there for two months. The views were lovely . Adrianna was excellent in meeting whatever needs we had, even arranging for a chaise lounge. They were the most accommodating group that we have dealt with. Our stay was good! View from balcony us stunning and property grounds are very well kept! Only complaint is the very loud train RIGHT outside the main floor bedroom. And the carpets seemed a bit dirty. The hot tub has weird hours, our kids were bummed they couldn’t use it in the morning before our expeditions because it doesn’t open until 9 am! Overall great place to stay.

We loved this place. It had everything needed and the layout worked great for our family. My only complaint was that the couches seemed dirty and smelled a little funny. Management was great and I'm sure they would have cleaned them had I asked, but I didn't want to worry about it while vacationing.

This was an awesome place to stay. It had lots of beach items provided like boogie boards, beach chairs, towels and toys for the kids to play in the sand. The view is incredible and so nice to leave the door open at night and hear the ocean. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed the stay. There were 6 of us, my husband and I and our 4 kids. The location was excellent, the condo was clean and the property was beautiful and well maintained. The beach on the north side of the property was perfect, and not too many people, ever. We went up to Disney and down to San Diego and neither drive was bad. My biggest complaint is that a neighbor was smoking a great deal of marijuana, which to me stinks and was preventing us from opening the windows and enjoying the deck - we finally reported it to the security office and their first response was it was legal in CA. We had to remind them that the property was a smoke-free property and then they said they would do something. For the most part, that took care of the problem. Other than that, other condos we have stayed at had extra towels and bedding and were a little more stocked in the bathrooms and kitchens. But that wouldnt prevent us from staying here again, I would just pack accordingly. I also missed the fact that all the parking was in parking garages. We had a tall vehicle that wouldnt fit so we had to park down the street and get over there before 8am to pay for parking for the day. Overall it was a fantastic place! The Fish tacos at the Tin Fish by the Oceanside Pier are a must!
